Christian people, never, never, critique a movie (Prayers for Bobby) from a few clips, shame, on you!!! Don't be afraid to watch the movie in it's entirety, that would be the honest christian approach to your dilemma that being, God did not heal homosexuality in the teenager who took his own life in the movie , so according to your christian belief, ( Gods word) this teenager is cast into the burning flames of eternal damnation ?? Why? it was after all in Gods Power to turn him into a heterosexual like you . Try on I Corin. Chap. 13, how does it fit ? from you critique, I'd say you have some growing "UP" to do , and your followers , try thinking "above the waist" that's where real love begins, you know , where your "heart is" ? God Bless .......

Again, you disobey Mt 7 not to judge. How do you know how much love motivates our viewpoint? In any case it's better to be 'all words and no love' than 'all incoherent selfish emotion and no love' as you seem to be. Why don't you get over your selfishness and ask yourself if you're really serving your son's interests in the best way?

And you're still not thinking when you talk about 'injustices' being done to Bobby. But so what? If a cashier gives Al Capone the wrong change, an injustice has been done to him, but that doesn't mean that Al's mob activity is moral.
If an injustice was done to 'Bobby', it was because people didn't work with him enough to help him overcome his sin. It doesn't necessitate telling him that this sin is OK. You seem to be very confused. It is *tragic* that people have these inclinations, just as it is tragic if someone is crippled. But the solution is to help the cripple, not tell him that his disability does not exist or encourage him in that delusion. Likewise we help 'Bobby' to live with this burden and overcome sin, not lie to him that it is not a sin. That is lazy and self serving in the end.
